DDAC-WO (Workover) is a SOURCE Electric Motor specifically designed as a new-generation draw-works direct-drive solution for workover rigs. • DDAC-WO has low speed, high torque characteristics, allowing the workover rig to eliminatethe angled gear box, and other associated accessories. This directly driven drawworks provides a substantial increase in transmission efficiency, improved lifting capacity, equipment reliability and vehicle off-road performance.
• DDAC-WO (Workover) can achieve almost maximum power under 30% load, and remains constant through a nearly full speed range. In addition, short-time maximum torque multiples of DDAC-WO is up to 2-3 times greater than other engines. This enables excellent lifting ability, efficiency, and increased processing capacity in an emergency. The DDAC-WO is the solution to the obsolete electric drive workover rigs problem of weak lifting capacity and the inability to work under full load.
• The Rotor of DDAC-WO uses permanent magnet materials. Without power excitation, the rotor has its own strong magnetic field giving better protection for the motor from bumpy off-road transportation which greatly extends the motor’s life.
